EuroLeague DraftKings Preview – 04/24/2019

DraftKing’s EuroLeague (EL) slate consists of 2 playoff games:

Anadolu Efes @ FC Barcelona (-5.0) – 156.0 O/U

CSKA (-2.0) @ Baskonia – 161.0 O/U

For convenience, teams will go by their DraftKings abbreviations:

Anadolu Efes = EFS

FC Barcelona = FCB

CSKA = CSK (so much quicker to type)

Baskonia = BKN

Just like yesterday we have two game 3’s in the EuroLeague playoffs and one road playoff favorite. With both series at 1-1 and the reasonable spreads, I don’t see any blowout risk.

Injury Note: Brock Motum could return for EFS. If the forward does return, Adrien Moerman will likely see his minutes return back to normal. Moerman is averaging 38.5 minutes per game in the playoffs compared to 28.3 in the regular season. I would avoid playing Motum and Moerman in the same lineup.

Full projections available here.

Top Lock:  Adrien Moerman – F – $9.9k

Although the return of Motum could reduce his minutes back to the high 20’s, I still like his upside in those minutes. Combined with the potential for 35+ minutes, I’ll have at least 2/3 Moerman.

Top Fade: Macelinho Huertas – G – $8.0k

He has scored right around 10 DK points in both playoff games and his minutes are down from the regular season. For this price I think there are better values, like Bryant Dunston for $200 more.

Top Value: Pau Ribas – G – $5.9K

This will be his second game back from injury, and he saw 20 minutes last game. I don’t love any of the cheaper guys on this slate. They are pretty high risk, which isn’t really necessary on these smaller EuroLeague slates.

Last Slate Review

Yesterday was a great first day for the projection system, finishing top-5 in all the DraftKings multi-entry tournaments, thanks to a 164.5 lineup.

This lineup made up for having Gabriel Deck in my other two lineups. One still cashed, making it a very strong day. Now I just need the tournament sizes to increase.
